To develop a coherent and coordinated research program in the Asian Region, which is aimed at enhancing the regional capacity on PEM through long-term networking and partnership between researchers and experts in developed and developing countries through collaborative projects

To assist Service and Manufacturing Industries in implementing various PEM strategies within all their areas of operations.

To jointly design and adapt courses and curriculum in the field of PEM with Academic Institutions, Industrial Representatives and other Experts in related fields.

To facilitate Universities in implementing these courses through “Educating the Educators” programs and developing and providing teaching aids on PEM.

To facilitate the exchange of information and experience between researchers and experts in different countries on PEM, through networking, training, scholarship, publications, meeting and other means.

To ensure wide and effective dissemination of concepts, research results and practical recommendations on PEM to end users and other stakeholder groups, using a variety of media and forums.
